About

Pastor Ho-Soon Han

Rev. Ho-Soon Han was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and came to the United States in 1995 to study at Boston University School of Theology. She was ordained in the New England Conference as a deacon in 1998 and elder in 2001. During her 24 years of ministry she served at Chestnut Street UMC in Gardner, MA, Lee Memorial UMC in Norwich, CT, Christ UMC in Groton, CT, Church on the Cape, Kennebunkport, ME.

Ho-Soon is a spiritual leader who experiences the spiritual realm as a reality and a creative writing major who uses the gift of imagination to conceptualize and explains the spiritual experiences in a plain language for others to understand. She is a storyteller that can bring life to the old stories of the scriptures and of her own conversion and ongoing transformation and can make connection with the worshippers. She is also an active listener with compassion which makes others easy to open and engage in conversations. She is someone who admits her own brokenness and vulnerability and continues to work to be an authentic and whole person. This makes it possible for her to connect with others with imperfection and invite them to the journey with Christ.
